Meetings & Upcoming Events

City Council and Planning Commission meetings are an excellent place to express concerns that the City Council of Gearhart may need to address, and to find out the latest on events and changes in Gearhart. Council meetings usually only last an hour, but are very unpredictable and have been known to last much longer. If you feel an issue needs to be addressed, please contact us before your visit, so that Council is aware of the amount of time that your concern might need. However, feel free to drop in if you just wish to participate as a public audience, and to witness the process of local government.

Regular City Council meetings are held at 7:00 PM every first Wednesday of the month at City Hall.

Regular Planning Commission meetings are held at 7:00 PM every second Thursday of the month at City Hall.
